Precision, Skill, and Engineering Excellence
The Fitter trade is a very important mechanical discipline and is considered the backbone of many industrial operations. In this trade, trainees are taught how to assemble metal parts, perform precise fitting work, and understand engineering drawings. They also learn to use various measuring instruments and follow proper workshop safety practices.
During the course, trainees receive hands-on training in machine fitting, installation, alignment, and routine maintenance. Skills such as welding, drilling, grinding, tapping, and cutting are also covered, enabling students to work efficiently in real industrial environments and develop strong problem-solving abilities.
This is a 2-year NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) recognized technical course, which is essential for heavy industries, manufacturing units, power plants, and maintenance departments. After completing the course, trainees can find employment as fitters, maintenance technicians, or skilled workers in both government and private sectors.
